Vibrance Delighted to Exhibit at ADASS Conference
Vibrance recently showcased its innovative LinkMeUp service at a national conference in London.
Samantha Wilkinson, director of self-directed services and Clare Emmins, self-directed services manager attended the ‘Enabling Adult Social Care Transformation’ conference, held by the Association of directors of Adult Social Services in England (ADASS), in Westminster, on 24th May. The importance of innovative technology to support the transformation of adult social care is now widely accepted across the sector and up to the highest policy levels. The ADASS Informatics Network has been at the forefront of pushing informatics up the care and health agenda since its ‘Web of Support’ vision in 2012.
Key note speakers at the conference included Rt. Hon Alistair Burt MP, Minister of State for Community and Social Care, and Will Cavendish, Director General of Innovation, Growth and Technology.
Speaking of the conference, Clare Emmins, said: “Our paths first crossed with ASASS at another event, where they showed a keen interest in the PA register, as they feel strongly for using technology to improve the social care sector. This is our first time exhibiting at an ADASS event, and we thought it would be a good opportunity to promote our services. We were delighted to attend the conference, and feel it was very beneficial for us. We hope to continuing building a relationship with ADASS and attend more events in the future.”
