COME AND WORK ALONG SIDE OUR SERVICE USERS

Becoming a Vibrance apprentice is the ideal first step towards better job opportunities and better skills. Not to mention better pay. As an apprentice, you’ll be trained in areas that employers look for, such as working as part of a team, problem solving and workplace technology. As well as specific skills relating to particular jobs through a mix of on-the-job and off-site training.

We even offer the chance to sample a variety of areas throughout Vibrance on our placement scheme. Plus of course, you’ll be fully supported throughout your time here and encouraged to get to know other apprentices that are learning, just like you.

Can I work across different locations?

As part of your induction, you’ll be given the chance to visit and find out more about our different sites. From here, you’ll be primarily based at one of our specialist social care services.

What will I get involved with?

As an apprentice you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of our services, as well as specific projects that support people to reach their goals. Placing the person at the centre of our services, you’ll support people with different needs, from specific health and personal care needs, to help with communication, mobility and daily living.

When will I be working?

We usually ask you to work your shifts over a four day period, including mornings, afternoons and weekends. However, we’re happy for you to talk to us about flexible working. You’ll also attend training/college at least once a week.

Can I study for a qualification at the same time?

Yes. We support our apprentices to attend college/training one day a week to achieve a professional qualification. Costs are fully met by Vibrance and/or the National Apprentice Scheme.

Graduates

If you’re a graduate looking for a career with real heart and real potential, there’s no better place to start than Vibrance. It’s the perfect opportunity to get on the first rung of the ladder in social care, whilst getting paid and building on your experience and skills.

Plus, prove yourself on our graduate scheme and you could find yourself selected to take part in Vibrance’s leadership development programme. Here you’ll develop core skills around people management on a scheme that’s been approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Can I work across different locations?

Yes. You’ll be given the opportunity to work across our specialist social care services, including residential, day, low support and outreach services.

What will I get involved with?

As a graduate you could be involved in developing community connections using innovative communication techniques such as iplanit, or specialist project work designed to help us to deliver our person-centred programme of activities.

When will I be working?

Your hours can be flexible. As a relief worker, you decide your availability and will be paid only for the hours that you’ve worked. If you decide to work a fixed amount of hours, you’ll work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Can I study for a qualification at the same time?

We support all our people to continue their professional development, and even provide funding where appropriate to gain a professional qualification.
