Vibrance Recognised as High Quality Payroll Provider for Service Users

Vibrance has been recognised for the high quality service it offers which allows to people with a range of abilities to be in control of their own finances and support.

The charity recently received a certificate of recognition from East London Solutions Ensuring Quality for being a quality payroll provider for its service users.

Five east London boroughs have joined together and designed a quality assurance system for providers who wish to offer services to individuals who manage their own care and support arrangements via a direct payment or cash personal budget. This is encouraged as it gives individuals flexibility, control and choice over their care needs.

Vibrance was contacted by representatives from East London Solutions Ensuring Quality to apply for the certificate. The application process firstly involved submitted evidence to demonstrate that Vibrance meets the criteria. After successfully meeting the criteria Vibrance was invited to attend an interview, interviewees included a representative of the borough and service users.

Richard Cross, Acting Director of Finance said: “We pride ourselves on providing a high quality payroll service to our service users and it is fantastic that we have been formally recognised for our hard work.”

Vibrance provides fund holding and payroll services which include:

  • Administering payroll on behalf of its service users for personal assistants
  • Providing pay slips to personal assistants
  • Paying domiciliary care providers or support agencies
  • Paying community resources
  • One off payments through a direct payment
  • Registering with HMRC as an agent to act on behalf of its services users
  • Completing reconciliation documents to the local authorities
  • Completing HMRC tax returns
  • Providing quarterly statements on direct payment accounts.
