Vibrance Celebrates End of Landmark Year with Move to New Offices
Vibrance is marking the end of a landmark anniversary year by moving to new offices.
Established 30 years ago, the move is a “natural evolution” for the charity, which supports more than 4,000 people with a range of learning disabilities and mental health issues across London and the South East.
The move to the new office will take place on 9th March; the new office is located in The Green House, an Ethical Property building in Bethnal Green.
“The sustainable nature of the offices, coupled with the ability it gives us to implement a completely modern way of working, meant we were very keen to make this the next stage in the Vibrance journey,” said Paul Allen, the CEO of Vibrance.
The move will bring to an end a busy 30th anniversary year for Vibrance, which celebrated its ‘birthday’ with a number of events at all 23 service centres it runs across London and the South East.
During the same year, Vibrance also merged with Haringey Association for Independent Living (HAIL) to provide an even wider range of services across the region. Vibrance provides a number of community day services, low support housing, nursing and care homes, short breaks, supported employment and self-directed services. Established in 1989, it runs its services from 23 locations.
Mr Allen added: “The new offices top off what has been a very busy, but very rewarding year. The ethical approach of the owners of the new offices fits perfectly with what Vibrance stands for, and played a major part in us deciding to move here.
“That, coupled with the fact that the offices are so accessible and at the heart of a lively part of East London, also ensures we are able to attract the very highest calibre of person to the organisation whilst continuing to serve the families and individuals who benefit from the services we provide.”
Mr Allen said the merger with HAIL also meant that an “agile” workforce was essential, and the Green House provided a modern, fit-for-purpose working environment. HAIL supports people with learning disabilities, mental health issues and autism to lead independent lives. It was formed in 1986.
“We have spent 30 years building a legacy from humble beginnings,” he added. “The Vibrance story now continues apace, and we are all very excited to be entering a new chapter and continuing to operate a culture of openness and honesty which ultimately benefits the end users and families we serve.”
