Here at Sylvan Road, we provide 24 hour care and support for adults with long-term mental health problems.

Our foremost mission is to encourage independence and empower the people we support to take ownership and make decisions about life in the home.

Our highly-experienced staff see it as their mission to make a difference in people’s lives and treat each person as an individual. Many of the residents at Sylvan Road have been with us for more than 20 years, and all staff respect that it is their home.

We firmly believe that by having a caring attitude and providing continual support at an appropriate level, we enable service users to reach their full potential. Through undergoing the best possible training, our staff are able to offer flexible care and support packages for each service users, encouraging them to have as much independence as possible.

In a brilliant location just off Wanstead High Street, Sylvan Road is within easy walking distance of the local shops, banks, cafes and pubs, and our service users enjoy the freedom of being able to come and go as they wish.

Our service users are able to pursue a range of activities, and enjoy regular holidays and day trips. We visit major sites in London, and stop off on the way home to have a drink and bite to eat.
