Here at Orchard Close, we provide 24 hour care and support for 14 adults with long-term mental health problems.

Orchard Close, which is made up of Scandinavian style houses, is located in a lovely quiet close in Wanstead.

Our foremost mission is to promote service users independence, whilst maintaining their health and well-being.

Our experienced staff provide high quality support to adults to help set goals for their future, whether it be to move on to independent living, maintain their mental health, access into education and employment, or to generally learn new skills to assist with everyday life.

We have close links with statutory mental health services. Our service users are able to access these services from Melmead House which is adjacent to Orchard Close.

We pride ourselves on the service we deliver and our team of staff, who have a wealth of experience in the field of mental health.

Our service is located just of the high street, and is within easy walking distance of all the local shops, cafes, banks and pubs, meaning service users can enjoy the freedom of coming and going as they please.

We provide a range of on-site activities including table tennis, pool, bingo and games night, as well as BBQ’s in the summer months. We also offer regular organise trips to the cinema, theatre, West End and the seaside.
