Here at Dunelm, located in Chadwell Heath, we offer round the clock nursing care for 11 adults with learning disabilities.
Accommodation is spilt across two five-bedroomed units, with each service user having their own bedroom furnished and decorated to their own personal taste.
Our foremost mission is to encourage independence, by ensuring service users participate in all aspects of their daily living such as leisure activities, personal care and friendships.
Our highly-experienced staff see it as their mission to make a difference in people’s lives and are committed to undertaking a wide variety of training to improve the quality of life of our service users.
The service also benefits from having its own transportation, enabling service users to have more involvement and independence in the local community.
Activities and fundraising events are organised by a group of friends and relatives who are known as the ‘Friends of Dunlem’. Activities our service users regularly enjoy include bowling, trips to the theatre and a drink in the local pub to name but a few.
“We would like to take this opportunity to give our heartfelt thanks, for the kindness, care and compassion that Dunlem has shown over the years.”
