Vibrance kicks off their 30th birthday celebrations in style
Staff and service users at Vibrance kicked off nine months of celebrations on 12th March to mark the organisation’s 30th anniversary.
An Olympic-style relay has been organised where a silver trophy will journey to each Vibrance location. The relay began its journey at a special event at Vibrance’s Orchard Close care home, in Wanstead.
Orchard close provides 24-hour care and support for 14 adults with long-term mental health disabilities, with the aim to promote their independence, whilst maintaining their health and well-being.
The trophy will spend around two weeks at the venue, during which time celebrations will be marked with parties, banners and a host of social media activity from the Vibrance team before it travels to its next venue.
The Redbridge Mayor attended the kick-off event on March 12th celebrating the fantastic work that Vibrance has done in London and the South East over the last 30 years.
As well as launching the journey of the trophy, at the event, Vibrance also presented a number of awards to staff who have made an outstanding difference to the lives of Service Users.
Paul Allen, Chief Executive of Vibrance commented “It’s so exciting to be celebrating the 30th birthday of Vibrance – the kick-off celebrations at our Orchard Close care home were spectacular.
Paul added “It’s been a fantastic 30 years, where we’ve been able to provide high quality support to adults in London and the South East, empowering them to have more control of their own lives.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has been involved in Vibrance since we started. We really pride ourselves on the skills and experience of our staff, and the fantastic services that we deliver.”
